S10 – Space Explorers

Pupils in S10, have been learning about Space. We have created Fact Files about the Sun, the Moon and the Planets in our Solar System. Pupils have learnt about ‘Safe Searching’ during ICT and used these skills to research interesting facts to create their Fact File.

S10 have also been busy in the Art Room, learning about colours, tints and tones and how to mix in black or white to make colours light or dark. We have then mixed the right shade of colour to paint our own Planets, Sun and Moon both as paintings and on 3D Spheres. We have also designed our own Aliens! We used water colour and smudging techniques to create different styles of colouring.
