Learning About Water: SCK’s Visit from Severn Trent

Last half term, SCK were studying the topic of “Water” in our world. On Tuesday, they had a special visitor from Severn Trent who came to speak to them about the job Severn Trent does and how they clean our water. Students had the opportunity to make their own “sewage” and then had to design a filtration system to clean the water. Students were excited to see who could make the cleanest water! SCK learnt all about what can and cannot be put down drains or in the toilet and the damage that can be cause by blocked pipes. All students enjoyed the visit and are keen to take their new learning home with them!
