Exploring Islands in SSM Class!

During Our World lesson on Friday, the SSM class had an exciting time learning about islands. They discovered that islands are landforms surrounded by water. The children worked in two teams to create their own unique islands using sand, blue water, leaves, sticks, toy animals, and toilet roll tubes as houses. While building, they discussed the importance of animals for food and wool, trees and plants for oxygen, and houses for shelter. The activity was not only educational but also lots of fun for everyone involved!
