Students Follow In The Footsteps Of John Muir
A group of learners from S17 have been busy all year following in the footsteps of John Muir, by discovering, exploring and conserving local wild places.
This involved a range of activities such as:
- Discovering the Wrens Nest National Geological Site
- Visiting Lapworth Geology Museum at the University of Birmingham
- Fence Making at Pendeford Mill Nature Reserve
- Mallet Making at Kingswood Trust
- Learning how to use a bow saw
- Learning about Elf and safety
- Wheel barrow driving test
