Fundraising at Westcroft
Here at Westcroft we have kicked off the year with a few great fundraising days for different charities. Fundraising is important to us and we’re always looking for new ways to raise money for charity. Fundraising for this year began by wearing our jeans to school on Friday 22nd September to raise money for Jeans for Genes, an assembly was also held in school to talk about Jeans for Genes and their fantastic work, We were very pleased to donate £352 for this brilliant charity.
The very next Friday we held a coffee morning in school to raise money for Macmillan Nurses. Thanks to Mrs Willock and her pupils for organising it, it was also lovely to see so many parents attend. We raised £298.13 for another fantastic charity.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support, and to tell you we have Children in Need – Friday 17th November & Christmas Jumper Day – Monday 18th December. More details about the events will be available soon!
